PS4 - Error connecting to PSN

This is really starting to get on my nerves.
So I got a Ps4 months ago and I'm a pretty solid Spotify user. Have been paying for premium since I can remember.
But why can't I listen on my console as well?! I've tried reinstalling, the mobile app trick, signing out of PSN, etc. Nothing. When will this be fixed?
I won't pay every single month for a broken service!!

It's not cool that this happens. Let us know if you're getting a specific error when trying to use the app on your PS4. Any screenshots would be super helpful.

Well it's just a plain text which says "Error connecting to PSN....". It shows right after I open the app and the Spotify logo appears with the loading indicator.

I have previously solved this same exact problem back on my PS3 system using the smartphone trick but nothing seems to work this time arround.
