My Question or Issue

If I go to a playlist and simply play a song (not shuffle play), the music stops after playing that song. I need to manually select another song in order to hear continuous music. This, however, doesn't happen if I shuffle play. But then if I shuffle play I can't listen to the songs in a particular order. This is absolutely annoying when I'm using spotify for listening to music in my car while driving. And you guys at spotify must know that this is the worst experience I have ever had with any music streaming service ever in my life! This is not rocket science and even after seeing this repeated complain from users spotify has been unable to solve this basic problem. I went personally thru all posts related to my problem and most of them are still unsoloved. So if you guys have any quality assurance/control procedures in your company, kindly solve this problem which affects many users! I'm not the only one complaining about this!

Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

Hope it helps 🙂

Thanks for your suggestion. Sorry but it didn't solve my problem.

Restarted device

Problem persisted.

Uninstalled spotify completely. Then reinstalled.

Still it persists!

So definitely the problem lies with the way spotify has decided to make its app work on devices. Coz continuous playback is not, as I said before, rocket science! It is happening because of the programming of the app in a particular way to restrict access based on some criterias, which is backfiring!

Spotify, get your act together! You shouldn't make Premium Subscribers complain! On such a large scale!
