Playback switching to audio when changing tracks

Hi all, it appears that when I'm playing music it always switches to audio after every song even if I choose the "switch to audio" option 

Please help

If you switched to video the track you're currently listening to, it should keep it if the next track has a video too. Keep in mind that if the incoming song has no video, the option will be automatically changed to audio. To test this, you can play a track, Switch to video and add to the queue a couple of songs with an available music video to see if it keeps playing when changing to the next track.

If the app keeps switching to audio after confirming that the next song has a video, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This is often an overlooked step, but it can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble. 

If the issue persists, include in your next response the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
