Hey @unknown3638,

Yes, here's how to do it:

  1. Click on the first song in the playlist.
  2. Scroll down to the last track.
  3. Click on it while holding the Shift button.
  4. Right-click on the selection and choose Add to playlist.

Hi there @unknown3638,

Thanks for reaching out. We'll be glad to help you share your playlists around.

Sharing music is one of the core tenets of Spotify, so we thank you for contributing to the rich landscape on the app! If a playlist is just marked as "Public" in the app, this simply means that other users are able to open and play it. If you would like for this playlist to be visible on your profile, you have to use the "Add to Profile" option. See here for more info on how this all works.

Hope this helps.

Even if I try to send people the link for my playlist, it won't show up

Hi @unknown3638,

Thanks for the reply.

Can you elaborate a bit more on what you mean by it "not showing up"? Are people not able to open the playlists you send them the links to? Are they able to open them, but those don't appear on your profile? Is this with all playlists or only specific ones? If there is some sort of error that appears, a screenshot of it would be very helpful.

Let us know how it goes.

When other people try to access the playlist from a link then it tells them
that the playlist does not exist.

Hi @unknown3638,

Thanks for the reply.

Does this happen on all playlists or only specific ones? Does it happen with newly created playlist? If you haven't tested this, please do so and make sure that you select "Make public" from the playlist options beforehand to make them available.

I do not have the option to make a playlist public or private, but I am
able to add or remove from my profile. I am using the web player on a
Chromebook and it is only some playlists

Hi @unknown3638,

Thanks for the reply.

Apologies for the misunderstanding. On recent testing we've confirmed that the options listed in the previous replies are valid, but making it public or private isn't possible on the web player. You can see this mentioned in the article from my first reply. As to why it only affects some playlists, the most likely reason is that those playlists are set to private while the others aren't.

We recommend you try using either the desktop or mobile app to edit this setting. On a Chromebook, you should be able to install the Android app so that should work too. If you want to make all your playlists public by default, consider changing the setting to publish all playlists to your profile, but be advised that this setting is only visible on the desktop app.

Hope this clears things up.

but this is what other accounts see

Hey @unknown3638,

Thanks for your reply.

Looks like the Miskulaneus playlist hasn't been set to public. Can you try doing it in the app as @Joan suggested above? It should then show up on your profile.

I can only access the web player.

Hey @unknown3638,

I understand this isn't ideal, but I'm afraid it's not possible to set the playlist to public from the web player, this can only be done through the mobile/desktop app.

As a workaround, you can try creating a new playlist. If it's public by default, you can simply copy over the contents of the old one to it and change its name and cover image.

We hope this helps.

Is there a good way to transfer over songs?
