My Question or Issue

After the most recent Software update today, there are a couple if issues with spotify, most importantly that the podcast episodes lists are not shows anymore, the space remains blank no matter how long I wait. This is not specific to any podcast, but concerns all of them. I can also no longer navigate the basic functions (play/pause, rewind...) from the home screen without reentering the app. 

Please advise

After logging in on the Desktop version (which worked), it started working on my mobile again as well.

Hi @Ace401 

Could you let us know is the application behaviour same on desktop app or it's only on mobile device related to the issue on podcasts 

 

Additionally could please let us know the exact version of Spotify application by going on settings- about-version details

Unfortunately I don't have access to any laptop for the foreseeable time and can't check the desktop version. But the spotify version is 9.0.30.642

Thank you for sharing. If possible, you can try connecting your device(s) to another network connection and give that as shot as well.

 

Could you elaborate is the oldest to newest or pressing back button is it resulting in the episode reflecting or is coming blank.

 

Further please perform troubleshooting by performing a clean re- install of the application once by 

  1. Go to your phone’s Settings.
  2. Select Apps.
  3. Select Spotify from the list of apps.
  4. Tap Storage / Storage & cache memory.
  5. Find and tap Clear storage and Clear cache.
  6. Return to the previous screen and tap Uninstall.
  7. In the phone's Files (or File Manager, My Files, etc.) app, Go to Internal Storage > Android > data. If you see a com.spotify.music folder, delete it.

Unfortunately it has not helped. Wifi or mobile data, back button or different sorting/filters, clean uninstall - the list remains blank

Thank you for sharing. To rule out a device related issue, could you try on a friend's or a relative's phone with your account.

Lastly, you can also ask a relative or a friend to log in to their account on your phone to see this is to test if it's a device-related issue
