Podcast not playing

My Question or Issue

So I was listening to this one podcast and when I clicked for the next episode. It did not play, I tried playing the previous episode but now it wont play, none of those podcasts are now playing. I tried it on a different podcast and they work fine. I tried searching and doing a clean reinstall but it still wont play on my mobile phone.

I have the same issue. Some podcast wont start. It does work on my PC but not my phone. I did all the suggestions clean reinstall, sd card removed, phone restart/powered off, clear cache and data. Still nothing works!

Could you try restarting your routers to see if that makes any difference? Does it also happen when using a different connection, like a different WiFi network or mobile data?

We'd also like to know if you can download the episodes and play them while in Offline Mode.

Lastly, send us the links to the podcasts you're having this issue with so we can take a look on our end.

Hello CarlosE! Thank you for responding.

I restarted my router - nothing changed. Some podcast still doesnt work however when I use DATA it played the podcast.

I downloaded a sample over wifi (3mins) of the same creator it did work when offline.

It looks like some podcast can only played over DATA not WiFi... I am not sure why that is...I dont think it's the duration of the podcast because I can still play a 2 hours podcast from other creators.

Thanks for your reply and the extra info.

That's odd, and sounds somehow related to the WiFi network. We tested those podcasts on our end on both desktop and mobile and with WiFi and mobile data and could play them without trouble.

Could you try on a different mobile device to see if the issue persists? Also and if possible, can you try using a different WiFi network to see how it goes?

Lastly, let us know the make, model and OS version of the device where you're having this issue.

Yes, it is quite odd and it only happened on my phone. I have a Samsung A11 with its latest update from September.
I tried again this morning and somehow it is fixed 🤷‍♀️ not really sure what happened but I am glad it's working...
