Podcast player breaks when playing ads

When I play the Joe Rogan Experience and there’s built in ads, pressing rewind makes the player go back much longer than expected. My belief is that the auto insertion of ads into podcasts is extremely buggy and sloppily implemented.

When an Ad starts playing (inserted by the Podcaster, or by Spotify), the episode should continue playing as normal. This type of issue could be related to some damaged cache stored on your device.  We'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app. This is often an overlooked step, but it can be helpful to get rid of any corrupted files that might be causing issues.

If the issue persists, would you mind checking on a different device to see if it makes any difference? This will give us a better look at the issue.

Lastly, include in your next response the make, model and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to keep investigating your case.
