Podcast progress randomly reset

Podcast progress randomly reset

The progress on a podcast I listen too recently reset? It now shows none as "played" and removed my downloaded episodes too. I've been listening to this podcast for years so there was a lot of history that seemingly disappeared? Can anyone assist?

Hey @Ld1526,

Thanks for reaching out.

Just to confirm, is this happening only with that specific podcast or have you noticed the same behavior with others?

Have you already tried performing a clean reinstall of the app to see if anything changes?

Keep us posted.

Only this specific podcast. It happened on other devices I use for this account as well, so I'm not sure doing the clean reinstall will make a difference.

Hey @Ld1526,

Thank you for keeping in contact.

If it's happening on different devices, the behavior could be related to the show itself. So to make sure this is not an account-related issue, would you mind confirming if after you listen to an episode, it is marked as "played"? If so, it's possible that the content was changed, edited or removed temporarily by the creator affecting the progress of the episodes and it cannot be recovered with troubleshooting.

If you know someone else who listens to that show, could you check if their progress was reset as well? If so, it's most likely related to the show.

If anything else comes up, the Community is just a post away.
