My Question or Issue

Podcast playback is considerably quieter compared to music. This issue has persisted between a bunch of different podcasts I listen to, enough that I don’t think the issue is just that the podcasts I listen to have been poorly mixed. This issue occurs both with wired and Bluetooth headphones from my experience.

Hey @stoneybologna,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

In this type of case, we'd recommend first checking if the option to Normalize volume is active on your setting. If not, would you mind activating it and setting the Volume level to Normal or Loud to see if it makes any difference? You can find this option by selecting your Profile picture > Settings and privacy > Playback > Volume controls.

If the issue persists, would you mind checking on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out.

Lastly, include in your next response the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.

We'll be on the lookout.
