My Question or Issue

 Several times a day Spotify web player randomly logs out on its own and redirects me to login screen. When I log in I always check "keep me loged in", but it has no effect. After I log back in, the player remembers position in a song, so I can resume listening, but it always reset music volume (which is the worst part).

Hey @Jedit,

 

Could you try using an incognito window or a different browser and see if the same thing happens? 

 

Further, we suggest that you reset your password and log out everywhere in case your account being used somewhere where you might've forgotten to log off. 

 

If that doesn't help, please send us a screenshot of when you get logged out and we'll take a closer look.

My Question or Issue

Hello there,

 

I've tried to use the Spotify web player on Safari, but after quitting then reopening Safari from a logged in state, I get logged out.

 

I've tested this with other browsers, and they're able to persist the login indicating that this is specific to Safari. I've also tested Safari with other websites that allow login, and they also persist the login across sessions -- this appears to be a Spotify Web Player only problem for Safari.

 

Testing it on another installation of Safari in a new Mac user profile also leads to the same problem, leading me to think that this also isn't a problem with my specific installation of Safari. I've also fiddled and turned off various privacy features (prevent cross-site tracking, hide IP address from trackers) in Safari to no avail.

 

I'd appreciate some help in solving this problem or having someone look into it -- thank you.
