Podcasts won't play on Chevy Infotainment

My Question or Issue

Podcasts will not play anymore on my Chevy infotainment. Music load and plays without a problem, but podcasts won't load at all. The okay time comes up as 0:00 and no title will show up. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and it won't work

I am experiencing the same in my 2 GM vehicles hopefully they are working on a fix

I've put the Chevy Infotainment back to factory settings and tried logging in with a different account. Nothing seems to make a difference.

Just to confirm, is this happening with all podcasts or only with a specific one? 

On another note, could you let us know if they play as expected when you connect your phone via Bluetooth or cable?

Correct podcast (all I have tried)  do not play in the vehicle app in GM vehicle. They will play in phone app through Android Auto.

It seems to be happening to most podcasts. There are a few that randomly
work, but most do not.

Yes, I can play podcasts without issue using Bluetooth. It specifically
will not work through the Chevy Infotainment Spotify app.

We can confirm that the right folks are aware of the situation and are currently working on a solution for this issue. We don't have a specific date for this to be resolved, but we hope it will be as soon as possible.

We'd also recommend having your Spotify app updated, so you don't miss any improvements coming your way.

I am using the Buick in vehicle Spotify app and  have the hotspot. Music plays just fine but no podcast episodes will play.

have reinstalled and repaired. Podcasts play fine via Bluetooth or on my device itself just to the car.
