Podcasts won't play on playstation 5

My playstation won't play podcasts from the app or the home menu, it was working before but now it does nothing. I disconnected my account and made a new one and the new one let me play podcasts but it doesn't seem to play them on my personal account. When I try to connect my phone to play podcasts it doesn't connect either. Hopefully someone has some info on how to fix this.

Just to check if this is an account related issue, are you able to play podcasts on your phone (without Spotify Connect)? Also, does this issue occur with specific podcasts or with all podcasts in general? A short video which shows how things look on your end would also be greatly appreciated.

You can try changing the default MTU value in your PS5's network settings to 1450 or 1473 to see if that would have any effect on your main account.
