My Question or Issue

I recently noticed pop-up ads like the one you can see in the attached screenshot (above currently playing bar). In this particular case I was listening to my Liked Songs playlist. How can these be disabled?

I get the point of audio ads in podcasts. But it doesn't make sense to pay for Premium for an ad-free experience when listening to music and still get text ads every time I look at the app.

Thanks for reaching out. We can confirm that on some occasions. besides audio ads, such pop-ups may appear for podcasts as well, they are also part of podcast advertising. Also, when interacting with audiobooks, you may also see similar prompts about the purchase of said books which are not available with Premium alone.

Thanks for clarifying. In this case, is this a bug if such a pop-up is still visible after I switch to listening music or a different podcast?

According to your description, I would expect to see an ad like this while listening to a podcast, and expect it to go away when I switch to a different podcast or a music album/playlist. In my case the ad persisted for quite a while after I switched from listening to a podcast to listening to a playlist.
