Private and party profile - same user

Is it possible to create two profiles for the same user? One would be for my primary profile with my music. The other would be for when hosting parties and playing music for everyone's enjoyment. I've used my Spotify for parties, and it took several months to get features like Discovery to match my music taste again.

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Community. Unfortunately, it's not possible to have two separate profiles with different music taste/algorithms in the same Spotify account at the moment.

If this is something you would like to see in the app, I'd recommend checking out this article for more info on how to post your idea in the Community Ideas Exchange. That way other users and Community Moderators will be able to vote and comment on it.

As a workaround for now, I'd recommend that you listen to your party music using private listening. Anything that you listen to during a Private Session won't affect your music recommendations.

Hi Jose, Thanks! When you say "your music recommendations" do you mean that my Discover weekly an Relase radar playlists and general suggestions will not be affected?

Exactly, your Made for You playlists and general recommendations will not be affected by anything that you listen to in a Private Session.
