My Question or Issue

An old roommate moved out more than 7 months ago and took his speaker with him. Despite "Show local devices only" setting turned on, his speaker (which is halfway across the country and not on our wifi) is still showing on my connected devices. I performed a clean reset on both my phone and PC yet this speaker is still showing as available on both my phone and PC as a connected device.

How do I remove this device (that is no longer in my home or in my possession) from my Spotify connected devices?

Hey there @justanotheruser23,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community and welcome!

You can try logging out everywhere with the steps you'll find here. If this doesn't make any difference, try restarting the app twice in a row. This may sound odd but is how the app resyncs and might be of help in this case.

You can also try restarting your router to see if that helps.

Keep us posted on how it goes.
