Royalty report

I received a random email from no-reply@spotify.com wanting me to click on my "passport" to access my "royalty report". Seems suspicious because I'm not an artist and i cant find content about royalty reports on here or my account
I marked it as Spam just in case but beware it could be a scam.

I got one within the last hour too. No idea why as I'm only a listener, not an author or publisher.

Also received this, all the sites route to spotify sites but I'm concerned as to why I received this.

Same here. I can’t imagine what “royalties” I could possibly be earning from Spotify, and I’m very suspicious of “signing in” to find out.

Same here. I don't normally receive spam on this email, but still, this came out of nowhere without any explanation.

just got one too and instinctively clicked on the link by accident. i have no idea what is up and changed my password just in case but definitely freaked me out a lil. hoping it's not something malicious

Just got one, too at 4:03pm EST, I'm definitely just a regular listener. Very weird, but I didn't click the link.

for the record it popped up some page that seems like it could be from an official spotify thing but gave me a 404 unauthorized user thing or whatever. definitely debating on changing all my spotify settings just in case it was malicious

Found this, but it doesn't explain why we all got it if we're just listeners. Maybe everyone who has an account gets one and it'll just say 0 for listeners?

I opened it and instinctively logged in only to get a 401 error code. Have now changed my password, signed out everywhere,**bleep** for them to confirm what it is. I’m only a listener so nothing to do with any royalties.

i clicked it cuz I thought it was one of those playlists Spotify makes us lol but it had just opened as a broken link & said "401 unauthorized" I'm assuming cuz we are just listeners & not an artist.

Same here. Something made me hesitate so I didn’t click the link. I haven’t found anything about “Passport” and Spotify when doing a quick search

yes i got a 404 unauthorized user message and it seemed like it was connected to my profile maybe? i didnt stay to check it out and just changed my password because i didnt know what was going on. considering changing some more info just to be safe but for now just my password.
