Solution for Bugs - Casting to Google Home Mini

Go to your Google Home App, click on the device you want to cast too, then select "cast my audio".

Go to Spotify and start playing music like normal (with "listening on this device" selected, not your Google Mini)

Issues this resolves:

-Google Home Mini changing the queue every time I view it

-Google Home Mini saying "Sorry the music has stopped because you're account is being used on another device"

-Google Home Mini disconnecting when you skip through songs too fast

This is a workaround that doesn't fix the Spotify problems on Google Home devices. Moreover, it drains phone's battery faster than with normal casting
