Song skipping first few secounds

Song skipping first few secounds

Hi,
I recently bought a Vizio D40u and tried the Spotify app, When I want to play a song in my playlist I noticed the first 2~ secounds skipped, I tried waiting just in case I was loading and replaying it but it never fixed, I tried other songs an it seems to be happening to all of them. I don't know if the Spotify app is not updated to the current and it's just a bug or not. Also some of the songs ( the first 1-2 songs in a playlist or album) sometimes plays from the beginning but most of the songs don't, It's very annoying because most of the songs need the first 2~ secounds to make it better. The Spotify version on the TV is v.1.1

Hi @CoopersTroopers, welcome to the community!

Please try turning on the Crossfade function in Settings, and then let me know if it works for you.

There is no crossfade in the settings, All you can do is Change/log out/add a profile in settings

I see. What if you activate the crossfade in your desktop app and then restart the app in your TV?

No, It still skips the first 2~ secounds of a song when i select it, Does the playlist just need time to load? I have 80 song in it and im going far down the list so has it just not completly loaded the song or is it another issue?

It might me the reason, but I can't tell you for sure. As this is the firt Vizio issue here in the community, I suggest you get in touch with their support site to see if they give you a solution for this.

If not, let me know so I can see what I can do for you!
