Songs not in my music ta, or not in any of my playlists when I open the app

Today I opened Spotify a Jack Harlow song was playing, I don't listen to stuff like that. I listen to Metallica, Iron Maiden, ACDC, Judas Priest etc. and this has been happening for a vast amount of random songs and I've searched up this issue so many times and have found nothing to fix it

For context, I open Spotify and there's a random song playing, when it used to be that if I didn't finish a song I was listening I could open Spotify and that song is there awaiting continuation. This started happening when the silly Paint the Town Red song by Doja Cat came out

What device does this occur on? Does it happen locally on the device or over Bluetooth? I'd also recommend securing your account and ruling any potential unauthorized access to it by following the steps in this article.

This happens to me too. During Christmas it was a Mariah Carey song, now it’s a Jack Harlow song. Music that’s pretty far from my interests. I can’t tell whether it’s due to being hacked because it doesn’t auto play or anything. I just assumed it was an odd bug or some kind of weird advertising.

First, to make sure your account hasn't been compromised, we'd recommend securing it with the steps here. If you're still experiencing the behavior after that, could you send over a screenshot of the song you see when you open the app?

This is happening to me also same thing Jack Harlow and Mariah Carrie and I too listen to metal and classic rock. I'll have a rock genre and everything I get in my car it's the same Jack Harlow song or one or 2 other rap songs. I'm willing to bet people are fudging numbers and making it look like artists are getting a lot more hits than they deserve. I am about to Uninstall spotify and go elsewhere this sucks
