Sonos with spotify volume normalization

Sonos with spotify volume normalization

When Using Spotify with my Sonos system is there a way to normalize the volume of every track with Sonos playback ? Some songs are loud and others are soft. We use this in our business and this is very bad for business.

Hey @Moistio

Sorry for the delay. There's a setting for that which let's you set all tracks at the same volume level. From the desktop app, go to Settings at the top-right and scroll down to Playback. There, you should see an option called "Set the same volume level for all songs". Make sure it's checked 🙂

Let us know if that helps!

The above solution solves the issue within the Spotify app, but not when using the Sonos Controller to play music.

This remains an open topic, more than 3 years after it has been reported. Have any steps been taken - whether by Spotify, by Sonos or in co-operation?

Bump.  This is still needed unless it exists somewhere and I can't find it.

Any updates on the issue? Would be a game changer my current setup: Sonos Amp 2 + playback through the Spotify MacOS app.

Any updates on volume normalization? It's part of Sonos' API and Spotify for some reason ignores it and as a result we have to adjust volume every time a song changes.
