Spotify Deleted an Artists Whole Album Off their Platform

Spotify Deleted an Artists Whole Album Off their Platform

My Question or Issue

I was told to make a post here so I can get updates on the issue, so here it goes-

I noticed an album that I listened to quite often by an indie artist was fully deleted from the platform. The album is called "Please Don't Text Me After This" by DRMR. They claim he botted his listener count (which is false) and that they would put the album back up if he signed a paper saying he'd never do it again. Why would someone sign  a paper claiming they did something they never did?

This is completely ridiculous and unacceptable and I'm beyond angry at Spotify for doing this nonsense. I absolutely LOVED this album and loved supporting this artist.

Hi @chocoholiclife, thanks for reaching out!

Is this the album you're referring to?

If so, it hasn't been deleted. There are also other available singles from DRMR that you can listen to as well.

Let me know if you have any other questions 😊

Hii! That's the clean version and is not the one I'm looking for

Oh I see, @chocoholiclife.

Sometimes music is missing on Spotify because the distribution company or rights holder hasn't made it available on the platform. This can happen due to licensing agreements, changes in distributors, or technical issues during the transfer process.

Keep in mind that Spotify add new content every day, so if you can’t find something, it may appear (or reappear) soon.

Meanwhile, you can get in touch with the artist through their social media channels!
