I would like to report a bug that many users have with the German Spotify-Original Podcast "Fest & Flauschig". There are a lot of mentions about the bug in the Fest & Flauschig subreddit. We already found out there, that it happens on Android and iOS.
The podcast starts with an ad, but when the ad ends, the podcast starts to play with no sound. It looks like its actually playing since the timer-bar-thing starts moving, but there is no sound. You need to press the "skip 15 seconds"-button for the sound to appear.
I never encountered this bug on another podcast, but it's happening with each episode of "Fest & Flauschig" for quite a few months now.
That is my situation, too. Please fix it.
No sound on Iphone or Android. No Sound on phone monitor or Bluetooth device. No sound with or without Spotify Premium. No sound by or by not skipping the ads at the beginning.
The issue happens after the commercial spots at the beginnig of Spotify Original Podcast Fest und Flauschig. If I skip 15 sec on and back the sound is back.
No problem with Windows 10 App.

- The clean reinstall didn’t solve the bug.
- As far as I can tell, the bug only happens on the mobile client, i couldn’t reproduce it with the desktop client.
- It only happens after the last Pre-Roll finishes, it doesn’t happen after ads in the middle of the podcast.

I have this issue randomly. Usually in the process of skipping from one mix or track to another. the signal seams to be connected but no sound sometimes the progress bar keeps moving. but returns to the cutoff point when reacquired. I suspected a connection disruption with my fiber provider, that has possibly happened rarely . Sometimes Nflx and AZ movies at the same time but not at the same time as Spot. It could also have possibly been a provider overload at dinnertime, because Email and news kept working without interruption. Our fiber connection has been very reliable since switching to Fiber. So I'm not inclined to blame it for disruptions, Also I'm quick to speed check the connection at the time of occurrence and haven't seen any disruptions .

Can you also please send us a short video of the issue? @user99989796, if possible, send one as well as this will speed up the investigation.
In order for us to report this to our tech team, we'd also need the models, OS versions and Spotify version of the devices this occurs on. In the meantime, you can also try using another internet connection (mobile data or a friend's/neighbor's WiFi) and another account to further narrow down the possible cause.

I have the issue as well. This is how I can reproduce it:
1. Listen to one of my playlists.
2. Put one episode of Spotify Original "Fest & Flauschig" into the queue
3. Once the current song is over, the ad starts playing.
4. When the ads are over (doesn't matter if it's one or two), the podcast starts playing without sound.
As mentioned in previous posts, the issue can be resolved by skipping ahead and then returning to the start.
The german Spotify Original "Gemischtes Hack" shows the same issue, so perhaps a problem with Spotify Originals in general. I could only reproduce this on the mobile app, but not the desktop app.

Off topic: Please don't make it so hard for people to contribute. I did already spent quite some time trying to reproduce this consistently. But it took even longer to find the proper place to post this issue. There is no easy way for users to file bug reports from the spotify app, it takes a lot of searching. And then when I try to post my comment, this website wants me to create a username, then shows an error message and the comment I had put together in like 15min was just gone. So I had to do it all again.
