I’ve checked to make sure my system and Spotify itself are updated, other things that require internet are working, but Spotify is just infinitely loading. EDIT: I haven't checked this message ever since I posted it since the app just started working randomly but I would like to say that the Spotify Connect idea is interesting so I decided to mark it as the solution if anyone every has this issue again.
having same issue.
Same issue
did this just start for you also about 30 minutes ago?
Maybe its a server issue
Upon further experimentation, I've noticed spotify app for windows10 WILL load
and it WILL stream music from win10 to xbone during the load screen, However, the loadscreen never goes away, sometimes all it displays is the logo, sometimes it shows the 3 loading dots.
Edit: I've reinstalled the app a few times and it presents me with the login screen, after trying to login via pair code several times it fails consitantly... This is soooo **bleep**ing annoying also. what kinda of time of year is this for things to break?
I'm 85% certain nobody at spotify is even logging in to check on these errors so thats my holiday ruined - thank you spotify for forcing me to listen to music on a 2nd device .
Mine is working on my phone and laptop just fine. Only the Xbox one I just get the logo and the 3 dots and nothing else. I could sync them and it would play music but if I switched out of the program it was stop the music
Mine worked yesterday but lastnight & still today it just shows it's loading.. I don't have any internet peoblems.. Pandora is working just fine.. but I like spotify better..
I'm having a problem on Xbox One where it says "You're offline. Spotify is not available when your offline. Please go online and try again." Every other app and game is working fine, and the app is fine too. Spotify used to not do this, then I came back from a 3 day trip and the Xbox One Spotify app didn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do?
My Spotify app has never loaded on the Xbox One, is Spotify working a fix, this is ridiculous going o no so long.
Hey,
Have you tried playing something on Xbox over Spotify Connect in that loading state? It seems to help!

Hi,
There were some possible fixes for this. Restart the app/console and try again to see if this helped.
//S
still broken
Still doesn’t work. Worked fine a few days ago and never had an issue until now.
Same issue as of a couple days ago
I was able to get it to log in, but I'm not sure if it was just my app.
I was getting the 3 dots, so I restarted, then uninstalled/reinstalled the app. Didn't help.
I logged out of all devices using the web app. It didn't seem to help. The screen was still black and sitting with the 3 dots. Then, I pressed the menu/start button on my controller while on that screen, and it gave me a cursor in the middle of the black. I pressed A, and it gave me the keyboard, as if I were logging in. So, I put in my UserName, pressed down, put in my Password, pressed down, and pressed A. It loaded right up.
I also have this problem, it started when I changed my password and now it infinitely loads..
As the app opens it will show the Spotify logo with three jumping dots bellow. If those dots are moving then try this.
Move the right analog stick to the right at least five times. Then press A. You should then see a black box with three dots pop on on your screen. After that goes away scroll up and down with the left analog stick. There should be a cursor flashing behind the froze Spotify logo. Go up with the top. (Type your username or email) Then go down to the second lower one. (Type your password) The third time you go down it will disappear. (Press A)
Doing this fix my problems, I hope it helps you!

Streaming from another device (Smartphone..) over "Spotify Connect" to the Xbox One had helped me too...
Previously we changed the spotify password, maybe that was the reason for the issue on the Xbox One.
