Spotify doesn't play sound on MiBox (Streamer). What should I do?

The app works properly, and it seems as if it's playing songs but no sound comes out. The TV is on the highest volume level and the sound works perfectly well on other apps.

Does this happen on other streaming devices as well?

Have you tried reinstalling the Spotify app on this particular device?

You can also try resetting it to its factory settings.

Gotta the same issue. Tried reinstalling and everything and still not working. Seems to be related to the video player that spotify has now, because when the video is playing the sound is on but when I selected songs that has no video it doesn't play and then everything gets messed up.

Thanks for reaching out!

Can you make sure that the volume on the device you're casting from is also turned all the way up? Another thing you can try is switching the audio format to see if that does the trick. Can you also make sure that IPv6 is disabled in the TV network settings? If you're able to start a hotspot from a mobile device and connect your TV to it, you can test it out to rule out any connectivity issues.
