Spotify freezing on amazon fire stick

My Question or Issue

Hi on my amazon fire stick I can only plan a few songs from any playlist and Spotify then freezes. I have tried everything from restart, clear cache, uninstall and reinstall  and restart on fire stick but no difference. It will just sit on the song it has played and not let me choose any other song or playlist the only way to rectify is to close app and start again. App is fully updated and so is fire stick not sure if it’s the app or the fire stick that’s causing the problem !  Any thoughts would be appreciated it’s driving me mad !!

Similar here.  The app freezes and the firestick reboots.  I have uninstalled and resinstalled.  I have this set up on two TVs and both do the same thing.
