My Question or Issue

Hi, I’m really concerned. After reading lots of raving reviews of a certain car stereo I bought it especially because it is able to directly play Spotify when my iPhone is connected via Bluetooth. It’s not a cheap car stereo and as a premium Spotify user I like to listen to my playlists while driving. 

It turned out that my phone just locks the Spotify app while playing the music of the last album I listened to, meaning that I can’t switch to other albums or playlist on my phone at all. It shows a black screen with a Spotify logo in the middle, while playing music on the car stereo, where I can navigate only within the album that I last listened to when last time the Spotify app was working (outside my car obviously). So that’s a though issue considering I bought this car stereo just because of being Spotify connected. I’m sure that’s a simple malfunction from the app’s side, so please promise me to do some bug fixing ASAP.

Of course I have tried to restart both my phone and the app, as well the stereo, I also tried to reinstall Spotify but none of these helped. 

In the meantime I have found someone else having the same problem with another JVC car stereo in this community, so this seems to be a wider issue that affects most probably many iOS and JVC car stereo users. 

When can you fix this problem?

It would be very important as all my efforts to listen to Spotify in my car are in vain if the app is not working when I’m driving. 😞
