Spotify on Denon Remote app

Solved!

Spotify on Denon Remote app

I got a Denon Ceol and I'm using Denon remote app for Android with it. It worked fine but suddently it has started being really weird. Everytime I use the Spotify part of Denon Remote app and a list of something is shown (tracks, artists, albums, playlists) it shuffles everything around while I'm looking at it. It's like looking at a puzzle where the pieces constantly shifts places. It's making the Spotify completely useless on the Denon Remote app.

I have tried to delete and reinstall the app on my phone but nothing changes.

Does anyone experience the same problem or even better, does anyone know how to fix this bug?

Hi,

I had the same problem with my Denon CEOL N8. I think thats not an app problem.

Try to shut down the receiver (also remove the power chord!!). After the "reboot" my problem was solved.

I had the same problem drives me nuts is it a case of completely powering down the CEOL

It's not the Denon app at fault.

I've got a pair of Piccolo units (lounge/extension) on a homeplug wired network, but the issue only occurs on the unit in my extension.  After some troubleshooting, I've found that disconnecting your CEOL from your home network (pulling the CAT5 cable) and disconnecting from the mains resolves the issue.  You might need to restart the device where the app is (phone/tablet).

Hope this helps.

That worked!  Thanks....it was driving me crazy.
