My Question or Issue

Last week, while playing music from Spotify on my Echo, it stopped playing music mid-song. When telling it to play, it would state that it was playing music (though clearly not). After multiple restarts, ensuring the latest app updates on my phone for both Alexa and Spotify, and in-linking and re-linking my account multiple times, it began working again. Now about 5 days later, I am back to the same issue, but it’s now occurring on both my Echo tower and Dot devices. I will try the steps that worked previously again, but it’s ridiculous that I should have to do this multiple times within a given week, for a Spotify service that I pay for. Please share any additional info or solutions that will (hopefully) last longer than a few days!!

Hey @Nknoerr,

Thank you for reaching out to us here in the Community.

We suggest that you perform a clean reinstall. This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

If that doesn't do the trick - would you mind trying from another device to see if the issue persists?

Also - can you let us know which version of the app you have?

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Cheers!
