Strange Behavior of Shuffle Option

Strange Behavior of Shuffle Option

Im not really sure where this should go or if I should be writing to you all in a different way about this but I recently noticed that a playlist I made, consisting of over 500 songs and 34 hrs of music, seems to "cycle" back onto itself after a bit of time playing. Im talking after maybe 30-40 mins songs will begin to repeat in the same or similar order that they originally played in. I beleive you might have something wrong with your random number generator you are using to accomplish the "shuffle", if you're using a Linear Congruential Generator you might not have the moderator value m set high enough causing the sequence to repeat. Don't know, but its frustrating to have a playlist that I made with the intention of not having to hear the same songs repeatedly doing the exact opposite.
