So you've got a Spotify account. And you've got a phone that's running on the Symbian operating system. But you can't get logged in!
If you've created an account through Facebook, you will need to create a device password. With this password, you should be able to get logged in on your phone!

I have also the same problem. I can't log in with my username / password on Symbian phone. I also tried to uninstall and remove spotify folder and then re-install Spotify from http://m.spotify.com/ (version 4.08(17))
Quite strange because I can log in with my username / password on my Onkyo A/V receiver.

Yes, I'm using username hurho. It works on my A/V receiver and also when sign in to this forum. When trying to sign in on my old Nokia E52 phone, symptoms are just like what other people are having here. It tries to log in for a while and then it will come back to log in screen.

Hi, i have same problem with my E7. I change facebook password many time and still not work. I have do everything and stil not work my mobile, Spotify works my computer perfectly but always when i try to login on mobile and accept its first logginin but then it go back and ask again username and password??? And yes i have premium spotify user.
Hi pasinm - As you joined via Facebook, you'll need to retrieve a username/ password for your Symbian.

I got mine working now. Problem was somehow related to my old phone network connections. I didn't have SIM card inserted but using WLAN. For some reason www etc was working but Spotify not. Now I have inserted some old SIM card and it seems to be working. Even using WLAN 🙂

Hello I need your help
I have a premium account and recently bought a Nokia N8. I'm trying to log in to spotify on my phone but it doesn't work.
I use my spotify credentials and I have re-set my password. The user agreement comes up, I agree, then it asks me
to choose network, I do so, it says "Logging in" Then it shows the log in page again, no luck what so ever,

It works now.. The phone failed to connect via w-lan, was able to choose this option before logging in to spotify
if I follow that link, I get the following message,
there's a problem with sending the email, try again later .
i have tried again but nothing happens.
I already added spotify as safe in my spam filter, so that can't be it.
I have a nokia N95, and i have a trial version of 30 days free premium.
it runs perfectly on my pc.
but I rather have it running well on my mobile

I have tried to retrive a username and password, so I can log in to Spotify with my N8, but it keeps giving me the errormessage, that "There is a problem sending me an email"
I can see I am not the only one experiencing problems with Symbian and Spotify.
Please inform how to solve this!

I have Nokia 808. When I Try to login with my Spotify username and password (not the facebook account), Terms and Conditions ask appears and after I've pressed Accept it goes back to the login screen and asks my username and password again. There was no problem to login with my former mobile which was iPhone.

Suddenly it begun to work! So I don't have a problem anymore (at least yet).
I'm having the same error that Veko had. I had to the reinstall the app in my Nokia c6 because it wasn't connect to nay network nor wi-fi, and now in cant log in =(.
I have an N8 and like I've been reading others have the same problem, login, accept, login screen AGAIN, I give up, I don't need the frustration or the time spent reading several others have same problem and I never saw a fix, adios!
