Temporary volume decrease after adjusting time position of song

My Question or Issue

When adjusting the time position in songs or selecting a song there is a temporary volume decrease for the first 1-2 seconds at which point it returns to full volume. This "feature" is fairly new and I find it rather annoying. I have been unable to find any settings regarding this. Is there a way to turn this off?

We tried to replicate the behavior you mention, but the app volume didn't decrease when changing the playback position or selecting songs. So first, to check if this could be device-related, would you mind checking on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out. 

If it doesn't happen, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app on your own device by following the steps in this article. 

Lastly, include in your next response the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
