Unable to effectively Ctrl+ F search within playlists when using Spotify PWA

Unable to effectively Ctrl+ F search within playlists when using Spotify PWA

I am a premium user in the US accessing the Spotify PWA using a fully-updated HP x360 Chromebook with Chrome OS.  I recently discovered via trial and error that Ctrl+F is the only present way to search the contents of playlists when using the Spotify PWA.  For some reason, Ctrl+F searches do not scan the entire playlist and only seem to consistently detect when a query appears within areas of a page that are already visible.   Present Ctrl+F search limits make this option no better than manually scanning through a list and do not allow for playlist searches to be any more efficient.  I prefer not to repeat artists between genre-based playlists and am probably not alone in needing a better search function within playlists.  Are there any plans to improve Ctrl+F search functionality or add a better search within playlist option in your PWA?

Hey there @user-removed,

Thanks for the post.

The Web player or PWA version of the app is very optimized and does not offer the full set of functions that you'd find on the Desktop or Mobile apps. This is why there is no in-playlist search filter.

What you can do, is install the Android app on your Chromebook. This should give you access to more features.

Hope this helps.
