My Question or Issue

Well, just in recent days I found random episodes from other podcasts that marked as “You might also like” suddenly begins adding into podcasts I follows, none of those episodes are related to podcasts I followed, and I’m sure that is not the podcasts creators’ action since same podcasts on other platforms don’t have those random episodes (Update: the same situation now also happened on same podcast on Apple Podcast, see my reply below)

As a premium subscriber, this episodes (or “advertisements” in better way to describe them) is so annoying. Come on, Spotify, this is not the experience users want!

What the **bleep** of this "You Might Also Like" episode about dating lesson???? I'm following podcast about Taylor Swift, not a podcast about dating lesson!

These promotion is just as terrible and disgusting as those unrelated advertisement seen on Google search or Instagram, I'm so disappointing about Spotify makes these promotion to ruining users' experience of Podcasts, and I believe your promotion for these unrelated episodes can also hurt podcast creators that losing subscribers who hate unrelated ads!

Please, Spotify Team, if you don't want lose a user who hate unrelated advertisements like me, STOP doing promotions like this way, or at least add a "Not Interested" button into these "You Might Also Like (and never related to my followed podcast)" episodes!

Update: Well, just found The podcasts I followed now also have same issue that having unrelated “You Might Also Like” episode on Apple Podcasts (and it seems only happened on this podcast). By the way, in order test the problem is come from creator or Spotify, I will subscribe another random podcast to see if unrelated “You Might Also Like” episode also appear on that podcast.
