Updated Podcast track on SoundCloud: Still old track on Spotify

Solved!

Updated Podcast track on SoundCloud: Still old track on Spotify

Plan

Free

Country

Switzerland (But based in Japan)

Device

several (Windows10, Iphone7)

Operating System

Windows10, IOS14

We recently added our Podcast hosted on SoundCloud on Spotify. The Podcast is about Education Policy globally. In one episode, we received the request to edit the Podcast after it was published, as the content was deemed too sensitive for a specific person. I shoved about 27 seconds and reuploaded the file on SoundCloud.

The previous file was 32:57 the new file is 32:30: it can be accessed here:

https://soundcloud.com/norrag/kix-eap-podcast-1-duishon-shamatov-associate-professor-at-nazarbayev-u...

On our Spotify channel (which we publish using the RSS from SoundCloud), however, the old file is still available, which include the few sentences I was asked to remove.

I was under the impression there was no online cache of Spotify, this isn't a local cache issue as I have accessed our Podcast from several devices such as the Webplayer on a PC-WIndows10 or an Iphone7 with IOS14 (for the first time) and the wrong file was still there on Spotify.

I had to remove the track from the RSS as I cannot have that file public, I really want to be able to have the track available on SoundCloud listed on Spotify.

Has anyone any idea how to remedy this, here is our Spotify channel:

Any help will be greatly appreciated,
