Yesteday I was making blends with people and it would have our usernames like normal but today when I logged in instead of saying my username it says some number and the blends now say this number. I'm super confused I've had the same username since 2013 and it's always shown that. I'm not sure what's going on.

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

We've gone ahead and edited your post, since it contained personal info. Keep in mind this is a public space, so, to keep your personal data secure, we've deleted the screenshots you kindly sent us.

So, the sequence of numbers and letters you're seeing is your username. In that regard, we'd like to add some additional info. It's important to keep in mind that your account counts with 2 names: your username and your display name.

We use your username to identify you on Spotify, so it can't be changed. You don't need to remember it to log in. You can use your email and password. The display name, on the other hand, replaces the username that appears on your profile, app and playlists. You can change it as many times as you want. You can read all about it in this article.

That being clarified, you shouldn't see the username on the Blend name, rather your display name. We suggest you log out and log in twice in a row onto your Spotify account. This could sound a little bit odd, but this way the system will force a sync of your account in general.

If this behavior persists afterwards, we'd suggest you perform a clean reinstall by following these steps, to be sure the app is up-to-date, and the stored cache isn't leading to you seeing your username in the Blend name. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
