Using the browser as a "mini player"

My Question or Issue

Until quite recently it was possible in the web player to shrink the window down to just contain the control bar. However, this has been changed and now once you resize the window to be less than ~600px high the controls all vanish instead (and cannot be scrolled to). Can this be changed back?
