[Web Player][Other] Chrome Web Player Stops Randomly

[Web Player][Other] Chrome Web Player Stops Randomly

Hello, I wanted to address an issue I see NOBODY else having. I'm on an Acer Chromebook using the web player, I have been having this issue on both the google version and installed version for the past few weeks.

Pretty much, I can play like a good 5 or so songs and then the music just stops. I think that I'm supposed to be getting ads (because I never get ads on the web player and have no premium) but instead, it just shows the player is playing nothing (picture of this attached), with the time of the song I finished playing before it happened on the right and some time that makes no sense on the right side, I believe it's usually 30 seconds. and doesn't allow me to skip or choose a song from my playlist or wherever. As a result, I have to close and re-open Spotify only for the issue to persist.

Does anyone have a fix for this issue or bring it to the Spotify team's attention? This is becoming very disruptive for me and is an issue I never have using Spotify on my PS4, phone, and my old Windows computer.

Hey there @BROLYTOOKYOBIH,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community 🙂 Apologies for the delayed response, we just came across this thread.

If you're still experiencing issues with the web player, we'd recommend clearing your browser's cache and cookies to see if it makes any difference.

If this doesn't do the trick, you could also ask a friend or a family to log in to their personal account using your device to see if they can replicate this behavior.

Keep us posted on how it goes.
