Web player crashes when typing a %

My Question or Issue

The spotify web player seems to crash whenever I type a '%' in the search. It's probably due to the url changing, but the % sign is used to distinguish other characters.

Hey @Connor1232, help's arrived.

Let's try a couple of things:

• Make sure your browser is up-to-date.
• Try opening the Web Player in another web browser.
• Open the Web player in an incognito window.
• Try opening the Web player on another device.

Let us know how it goes, and tell us what browser you've tried with.

Hi there Jemi,

I did the following things. My normal browser is Vivaldi (based on Chromium).

None of them worked. I myself tried it in incognito, another browser (Chrome), updated my browser and opened it on my brother's pc (who was using Firefox).
