Webplayer stopped working, gives "install Flash" message.

Solved!

Webplayer stopped working, gives "install Flash" message.

The Web Player stopped working for me a few days ago. I tried on both a linux/ubuntu and a Windows 10 machine, both equipped with Chrome, to no avail. It keeps on telling me to install flash, WHICH IS ALREADY INSTALLED AND WORKING.

Ok, I found a solution, or at least a workaround.

Go to Chrome > Preferences > Advanced Settings > Privacy > Content Settings > Plugins > Manage Individual Plugins > Adobe Flash Player > Check "Always Allowed to Run". Once I did that, I went back to the tab and everything loaded like normal. Spotify should still fix whatever issue this is and/or prompt the user to check this setting if required through the "Get Flash" process. But at least I can jam to some Queens of the Stone Age at work now.

This is happening to me too. I have Flash installed and even went through the process to uninstall and reinstall using the button on the screen. But it's still saying "Get Flash", even after restarting the browser and reinstalling the lastest version of Flash. (See attachment)

Thanks a lot @TreyDub. You saved my day. By the way, yeah, Spotify could mention that in the popup message. Thanks again.
