Why can't I download songs ?????

SInce the update I have not been able to download my saved songs also I have loads of trouble getting onto Spotify in the first place as it keeps throwing me out and saying in need to check device storage but my device storage is absolutely fine, it is driving me mad and I'm getting to the point when I may leave and find a different music supplier !!!

That doesn't sound quite right.

Have you tried reinstalling your app? If not here's a step by step tutorial.

I'm having the same problem.  Signed up for Spotify today with the understanding that it offered downloading of songs.  The option isn't even availabe on my Premium subscription! Guess I'll cancel.
