Why does my history show lots of things I haven't listened to?

My history for today shows lots of random tracks that I have not listened to or accessed - why/how?

Hey there,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

Since you mentioned those are tracks you don't remember you listened to, we'd suggest the following for you to secure your account and avoid any other users using your account without authorization. So, try these:

  • Reset your password, and open your reset link in a private/incognito window. Then choose a strong password you haven't used before. Be sure to also change the password for any service associated with your account, such as your email address, Facebook, or Apple.
  • Sign out everywhere. Log in to your account page, scroll down, and select SIGN OUT EVERYWHERE.
  • Check 3rd party connections. On your account page, select Manage apps to review what’s connected to your account. It’s best to select REMOVE ACCESS on all of them to ensure your account’s security (you can reconnect them later).

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Keep us in the loop!
