Podcast playing blocks all interaction with phone, samsung a55

My Question or Issue

When starting a podcast on my mobile all further interaction with the phone is blocked, only resolution is to restart the phone. The podcast does play by the way.

To make sure we cover all bases, could you try clearing saved cache from the app to see if you notice any difference? Another option is a clean reinstall, as this will clear saved cache too, as well as ensure that you're running the latest app version.

Also, if you have an SD card for your device, it's possible for the card to become corrupted. What you can try here, to see if it behaves in the same way, is uninstalling the Spotify app > turn off your phone > take out your SD card > turn on the phone again (without the SD card) > reinstall the app.

Should the issue persist, after checking the above, it would be great if you could you let us know if this happens:

• With all podcasts or just a specific one.
• Using another internet connection.
• After an update to the device's OS or the app.
