Why doesnt my shuffle work after putting on one song?

After searching for a song and putting it on, (shuffle on) usually a song with the same “vibe” follows. Now no new song plays after, instead the original song plays again and again. Even when i check the queue, the only song there is the one I originally put on. It usually isnt like this, and it really bugs me. Btw, i do own Spotify Premium, and the shuffle feature works on playlists and artists.

Can you check if you have the Autoplay function on? When your song finishes playing, Autoplay automatically generates a new set of similar songs so that your music never ends. You can find out how to toggle it on here. 

If Autoplay was already toggled on, it's possible that you have the Repeat function enabled, so try disabling it to see if that does the trick!

Repeat currently toggled off (greyed out).

Another cool feature you can try is Go to song radio. This feature will automatically create a playlist based on that song.
