Why don't any of my friend's playlists show up?

My friend recently got a Spotify account and has created several public playlists. However, when I try to view her playlists--either by clicking a link she sends me or by visiting her profile--I get a "page not found" message or a "This Playlist is not available, the owner of this playlist has made it private or removed it from Spotify" message. She's doublechecked that the playlist still exists and is public. I've tried viewing her playlists on my phone, in my browser, and on my desktop, but can't.

If it happens on different devices, and the playlist is not private, it's possible that the issue could be account-related. So first, would you mind asking a different user to share a playlist with you to see if the app shows the same error message?

If not, could you have someone log in with their account on your device - such as a friend or a family member, to see if they receive the same error message when trying to open that link?

We'll be on the lookout.
