Why is Spotify inserting random songs into my personal playlists?

I make a playlist, and Spotify inserts their own songs whenever they feel like it into my own personal playlists.

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

Just to confirm, is your account on free service or is it Premium? If it's Premium, it's possible that you accidentally activate Smart Shuffle, which adds personalized recommendations to your playlists. 

You can identify the songs added by this feature as you'll see some stars next to the name of the dong playing. From the Now playing view, a recommendation looks like this:

 

To disable this feature, you just need to tap the shuffle icon 1 time. There are other features that recommend songs within the app such as Autoplay. We'd suggest looking at this article to learn more and disable it if you'd like to.

t's possible you have some other playlist or songs in the queue ready to start playing. So, we'd recommend you check if there's something on the queue to play next. If yes, you can clear the queue, but you first have to locate it by following the steps in this article. Then you can hit the Clear queue button to see if you notice any difference.

If your account is on free service, keep in mind that our free experience on mobile is different; the app adds suggested tracks within the same album/playlist and that is expected.
