Whys spotify freezing at every ad

It was an issue brought up on here and you guys took it down saying it was resolved and its not, I cant find anything that will fix it besides closing the app every 10 minutes when I get an ad

Not resolved. I have the same issue playing from an iMac desktop, laptop, ROKU, and Apple TV. I realize I have only the basic free version, but if they want me to get the premium edition, they'll have to get this issue fixed.

I have the same issue, and it hangs my machine, even turning my second monitor off during it. I reinstalled Spotify this morning

Thank you for reaching out to the Community about this.

Just to make sure we covered all the basics, would you mind confirming if you've already tried a clean reinstall of the app? If not, we'd recommend following the steps mentioned in this article. 

Also, @PapaALB, could you check with a different Wi-Fi connection to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can use a mobile data hotspot to test it. 

Lastly, include in your next response the OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating this behavior
