Windows 10 Mobile App Broken

Windows 10 Mobile App Broken

Hello,

Since Thursday/Friday last week, the Browse page only half loads and says there is 'nothing found'. You cannot view New Releases etc, they never load. Please fix this, as since Microsoft switched off Groove Music Pass i'm either using Spotify or Deezer and right now i'm should switch to Deezer because at least it actually works!

Hey @adriandenning

I have the same issue. 🙂

I need some extra information, so could you please try the following:

Uninstall Spotify, restart phone and then reinstall Spotify;

Ask a friend to log into their account on your device and see if the issue persists, or use a secondary account to try this if you've got one.

What version of Spotify are you running? 🙂
I seem to be on 5.2.4.0, no updates available.

Keep me posted!

Tengo el mismo problema, solo me pasa en w10 mobile

I always try re-installing clean before reporting an app as a problem. It seems like no coincidence at all this happened on Friday when the new releases are updated - that others are having the same issue points to something wider.

Having the same issue. So hopefully this gets fixed soon as Spotify is still on a 'probationary period' for me 😉

Hey @lsotomir

I hope you don't mind if I answer in English 🙂

About the issue:

Could you try setting Spotify to offline mode and see if the issue stays?

Try using a different network (3G/4G or WiFi) as well.

Let me know what it says!

I have the same issue with not being able to browse toplists or new releases (this problem started a few days ago for me), everyone else on wm10 seems to have this problem so I guess the problem is probably caused by something Spotify did on the server side. Hope we get a fix soon for that.

As for the issue Isotomir is having a soft reset (normal restart of the phone) usually helps for me on my Lumia 950XL. I usually turn my phone off most nights so I rarely have that issue.

Browsing toplists and new releases works again in the spotify app on wm10, thank you Spotify for fixing it. 🙂

Hi @adriandenning,

Thanks for letting us and @Sebasty know! Sorry to hear it's still not working.

There's some more info on this here.

Spotify are working closely with Microsoft to ensure the best experience on Windows platforms moving forwards.

If you need anything else, we'll be right here.
