[XBOX ONE X] App Irritating Me.

I've reinstalled the app twice, got it to work for about a grand total of an hour. It will not pair, I've logged in by email/password a few times - mostly it just greys out the log in button after I input my info, I sometimes get it to connect by the mobile app - but it won't play on the Xbox itself, the phone audio still takes over. I've even totally restarted the console itself. I have over 3TB of memory still on the Xbox. It's on the same WIFI network as my phone, laptop, tablet, and alexa. What am I doing wrong?

• I’m having this exact same problem can’t link can’t sign in... I’ve tried on two different devices my Xbox one S and my Xbox one X neither will link or let me sign in I can sign in perfectly on mobile browser all that but not Xbox it’s quite frustrating considering I listen to Spotify from my Xbox for hours a day
