(Xbox One) Spotify Crashing When I Leave The App

My Question or Issue

Hello!

I just downloaded Spotify on my Xbox One S and I can't get it to work. When I'm on the app it's fine, but as soon as I leave it, it crashes (the song stops playing and I have to reopen the app). If I then try to press the play button on another device, the song just instantly pauses. I've tried everything: reinstalling the app, restarting the console... nothing. And I can't seem to find anyone else with the same issue, so I guess I'm doing something wrong.

I would really appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.

I have the same issue, on my console (Xbox Series S) It happens exactly the same as reported by you.

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Can you try to Log out Everywhere and log back in only on the Xbox? Also make sure, you're running the latest firmware on the console, as well as the latest version of the Spotify app available.
