devices visible in some account but not others on same network

devices visible in some account but not others on same network

devices visible on Spotify connect are only available on some of the family accounts. I can see network devices on my account but if I log in with another account on the same device they are not visible. Only bluetooth/airplay options

Thanks for reaching out on the Community!

 

I assume the Connect/network devices that you're referring to might be smart speakers. In this case, it will usually only work with the account that's already connected to the speakers. And for some devices, they'll will only show up in the app on the account they're first linked with. Feel free to have a look at this thread as well, as it sounds similar to what you're describing. There, other users managed to connect to the devices with Voice commands and by creating an Amazon Household.

 

Should the issue you're experiencing with Connect be different, however, it would be great if you could let us know what devices and operating systems you're using. If possible, try signing in to your account on another device too, just to see if the Connect devices you're looking for appears there.
